Upgrades explained
Control panel
Upgrading your control panel to our 2 player version allows you to double the fun by playing with or against another player. Our 2 player CP has been the main upgrade for years. It will be produced on order, freshly installed and even pre-wired up to the compatibillity of your order.
Compatibility
PC-RPI-Mister
With this compatibility option you can connect your Vewlix via USB to your PC, a Raspberry Pi (3, 4 & 5) or a Mister FPGA board. It’s the ideal choice for running a multigame emulation setup in your Vewlix cabinet. Imagine hundreds or even thousands of games straight from a computer from within the Vewlix, all joystick controlled.
PC-WiiU-PS3/4-XBO/360-RPI-NS1/2
This upgrade will allow a broad range of past-gen and current gen computers & consoles. The USB plugs straight into any of the mentioned systems including Xbox One, Xbox 360, Nintendo WiiU, Switch 1 & 2 and the Playstation 3 & 4. You will also keep the compatibility with your PC and Raspberry Pi (3, 4 &5).
PC-PS5-XB X/S-RPI-NS1/2
The upgrade is mainly focussed on the last-gen systems. The Playstation 5 compatibility is especially needed for fighting games like Street Fighter 6. It still holds compatibility that allows you to connect it to your PC and Raspberry Pi (3, 4 & 5) and also the Xbox Series X & S.
Subwoofer
Pro
This upgrade will snuggly fit an active 30 Watt subwoofer in the base of the Vewlix cabinet. While the original speakers of the Vewlix will start its audio range from 120Hz, this subwoofer will add a bass range from 45 to 120Hz to widen the overall range and feel.
Premium
This top of the line subwoofer will add an active 70 watt fearsum bass to the main body of the Vewlix. It will add a 38Hz to 120Hz range to your audio. With its higher wattage and more weight it will have more ease and uniform audio.
Control kit
This powdercoated steel plate gets mounted above the control panel to add 4 extra buttons to the Vewlix. The control kit is built so that you can still place the black plastic cover over it to keep your Vewlix looking original. Its a must-have for anyone who is considering to put an emulator setup in the Vewlix. This can be wired to allow an ‘insert coin’, ‘exit’, ‘test’ and ‘service’ button right within your reach.
Screen
To make sure the screen looks fresh and it can handle the fast paced games of now and has no issues with past games you can choose to upgrade the screen.
We only work with triple A screen brands. The screens are bought on order, locally, so we know we have the latest version and the highest standard of quality control from brands like Samsung and Iiyama.
If you miss the deep blacks and vibrant colors of CRTs, the OLED screen is your best bet. It combines 4K resolution, a 0.03ms refresh rate, HDR and 240Hz to offer the best of all worlds.
